Bill Stack first started playing guitar in college as an undergraduate when his best friend and roommate, an accomplished Blues Guitarist, gave him one of his guitars and taught him the basic guitar scales. Bill was attracted to guitar because he wanted to participate in the many jam sessions that occurred across campus during the 1970’s Rock era.
After graduating and throughout his 4 decade career as an Environmental Engineer, Bill continued to play guitar taking lessons in different styles such as classical, Flamingo and jazz and periodically participating in different jam sessions with a cohort of other musicians friends in the Baltimore area.
